OUR EXPECTATIONS FOR YOUR ROLE

In your role as a Finance Executive in Teleport India (New Delhi), you are expected to:

• Perform day-to-day financial operations such as AR, AP, GL, Interco, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, invoicing, revenue reconciliations, and other financial related transactions
• Responsible for the credit control of the Company, which includes timely collection and debts recovery, updates daily collection data and facilitate with the registration and evaluation of debtors
• Supports monthly AR and AP review, and Tax submissions
• Review of payment plans and monitor bank recon to ensure that all payments are properly encountered for
• Liaising and working closely with auditors, shared service function and other stakeholders to ensure smooth AR and AP process
• Actively coordinate and communicate with AASEA (shared service centre team) to ensure financial transactions are posted accurately and timely
• Assist the Finance Manager (where applicable) to implement and coordinate ad-hoc finance business initiatives locally

• Assist the Finance Manager in dealing with auditors during audit period
• Coordinate with other finance team members and other divisions within the Company to ensure completeness of data and financial statement close process
• Assist the Finance Manager in strengthening and improving internal control and financial processes/SOPs. Focusing on improving current finance process to streamline with the overall objectives and increase efficiencies within the Company

Here is what we are looking for:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or Professional Accountancy Qualification / Chartered Accountant (CA) – Intermediate (semi-qualified) / CA drop out/ MBA Finance
• Minimum 3 years working experience
• A strong financial and accounting technical fluency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Problem solver and good in time management
• A strong, independent contributor who is comfortable navigating ambiguity
• A master of organization and prioritization who has the ability to triage multiple initiatives and focus our efforts on tackling the right problems first;
• A speedster in getting things done, as we believe speed is important to effect change. Ability to work under pressure & work in a tight timeline given
• A good team player who communicates and works well with the team members;
• High level of attention to detail;
• Demonstrable enthusiasm and energy for delivering successful, impactful results.
