The Accountant is a key member supporting revenue, royalty and other operations. This person will be responsible for the daily review of various revenue tracking systems within the Company and assist in completeness of revenue backend royalty reporting requirements. The Accountant will report to the Senior Revenue Analyst based in the Company’s San Francisco, US office.

Primary Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

Ø Monitor and review daily incoming revenue data from multiple tracking systems and sales sources

Ø Identify issues and propose solutions if any, and obtain approvals from US team to execute per the timeline of resolutions agreed upon

Ø Reconcile and tie out all revenue data from each supporting system sub-ledgers

Ø Publish the verified revenue datasets to use in calculations where applicable to the team members

Ø Follow US GAAP and Company revenue recognition policy to assist in preparation of Accrued Revenue and Deferred Revenue calculation workbooks

Ø Contribute to timely period-end close processes including Journal Entries, monthly and quarterly revenue schedules

Ø Perform the calculation of monthly or quarterly royalties per the signed license contract terms and compose supporting Journal Entries

Ø Own and manage the preparation of quarterly royalty statements and submissions to licensors per the license contract terms

Ø Assist in preparation of all revenue and royalty reporting requirements and meeting deadlines without delays with proactive planning with US teams

Ø Support other operational functions as needed

Ø Work with US Finance to ensure proper documentation and audit trails as well as Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and testing

Required/Preferred Experience:

• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with large financial systems such as Oracle Cloud or other ERP system.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong Excel skills, including use of complex formulas (vlookup, sumif, index match, etc.) and pivot tables to analyze large datasets.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and maintain both a proactive and positive attitude.
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task required.
• Focused on delivering on time with high quality outputs.
