Role Overview:

The role involves developing and leading a team of Subject matter experts in creating visual-led content learning modules(like videos, infographics, GIFs, simulations, games etc.), to supplement the existing live tutoring classes and make quality learning accessible to students anywhere anytime. Being a leader in growing, mentoring and appraising the team and creating a vision and mission for academic content design in creative content.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Leading the Physics Curriculum and content design for high school or secondary grades suitable for online learning
• Incorporating the best pedagogical practices into the content design
• Designing creative teaching methodologies and strategic interventions to personalize the experience of learning while focusing on efficient outcomes
• Understanding and envisioning the product output and communicating and coordinating the processes to achieve that
• End-to-end coordination across teams to get the required output
• Lead the design of in-video and post-video interactions, assessments and worksheets to ensure engaging Learning experiences with focus on long-lasting learning outcomes
• Creating Guidelines and set processes for zero-error content creation, and setting QA/review processes
• Planning and managing creative content production pipeline using project management tools, essential documentation and necessary reporting
• Managing creative content quality control, packaging and delivery
• Researching tools and trends and implementing best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
• Training, mentoring, motivating, reviewing and appraising the team and creating a vision for the team and the product

Skills/Experience:

Must have:

• 1-3 years of work experience in content design and leading a content team with an EdTech Company
• Excellent knowledge of the K-10 Physics with a firm understanding of the basics
• Good pedagogical skills and thorough understanding of learner requirements. Prior teaching experience would be an added advantage
• Strong communication, project management and leadership skills to mentor and guide the team across sprints and showcase the progress effectively
• Ability to collaborate and work across the teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Should have:

• Out-of-the-box thinking, ability to think beyond textbooks to find creative ways to teach and qualitatively assess such techniques as well.
• Visual thinking, to be able to efficiently use visual tools and also assess their usage for effective content communication
• Diligent and proactive to work in a growing start-up environment, adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining quality
• Good logical thinking and aptitude skills
• Attention to detail – spot mistakes and errors, ensuring the writing follows the style

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in respective subject or degree in Engineering
