The GeX organization is responsible for driving vision, strategy and execution for Dell’s Ecommerce experiences across the globe. About the Role
Our team is looking for an outstanding engineer to help us develop the platform and data abstractions that will scale dell.com in its mission todeliver the best customer experience in the world! As part of this team, you’ll be working on high performance caching, pub-sub messaging as well as cloud native data abstractions while directly interacting with distributed data stores and services.

On the Digital Transformation App Factory team, you’ll work in a modern product team to build cloud native apps using the latest and greatest technologies.
We love to continuously learn and be at the leading edge of Dell and industry trends.
Essential Requirements:
- Develop high availability and highly scalable applications which will be used by external customers
- Work with clients and product managers to determine software requirements and system impacts
- Generate unit and functional tests
- Understanding design patterns and principles for developing microservices
- Proven experience developing REST APIs
- Hands on experience with message broker technologies (preferably Kafka and RabbitMQ)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (ideally Cassandra)
- Knowledge of C#, and .Net core
- Knowledge of Git
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with cloud native architectures and infrastructure
- Vmware Tanzu (Pivotal Cloud Foundry – PCF)
- Steeltoe
- Knowledge and proficiency of CICD technologies
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and UIO testing libraries
- C#, .Net Framework, Web API, .Net core, Web Services, Kafka / RabbitMq
